A new wallpaper

If the moldy area is relatively large, or more moldy, and the wallpaper has been used for a certain number of years, you might as well take this opportunity to change a new wallpaper. As the saying goes, "the old doesn't go, the new doesn't come". If the damage is too serious, it's best not to think about repairing it, otherwise it will corrode the wall and damage the wall. In this case, it's suggested to take the opportunity to change a piece of wallpaper and style at home.

Wash with soapy water

If the moldy area is not large, the quality of the wallpaper purchased is also good, and the damage is not very serious, then at this time, you can mix soapy water or other detergent products with water and wet the dishcloth for cleaning. Generally speaking, the newly grown molds or moldy marks can be removed in this way.

Disinfection alcohol wipe

If the mildew lasts for a long time and cannot be completely removed with soapy water, you can consider buying an alcohol solvent with a concentration of 80%, wetting and wiping the moldy surface with a cloth, or directly cleaning the wallpaper. Generally, you only need to wipe two or three times to completely remove the mildewed marks and marks that are not too serious, which can be used normally.

Brush with toothbrush

If the mold has grown for a period of time, simply wiping it with alcohol will not wash out the mold marks that penetrate into the interior of the wallpaper. At this time, you can find a dry toothbrush that is not used. Use it to brush the surface of the wallpaper and clean the mildew. Then you can take an appropriate amount of toothpaste and put it on the toothbrush to brush out the mildew marks inside the wallpaper, so as to clean the mildew spots. If the mildew is not particularly serious, after removing the mildew with a toothbrush, you can directly clean the wallpaper surface with an appropriate amount of alcohol, which can also achieve the effect of cleaning the mildew marks.

Use mold remover

For milder and less serious mildew spots, you can also directly use mold remover to remove them. Directly dip the mold remover with a dry cloth, and then gently wipe the surface of wallpaper that needs mold removal. You can also use disinfectant, dilute it with an appropriate amount of water, spray the liquid on the surface of wallpaper, and then wipe it with paper or rag.

Use bleach

This method can completely eradicate some stubborn mildew spots, but it is worth noting that bleach is more irritating and does great harm to human body. It is easy to stimulate skin tissue. Therefore, protective measures must be taken during use. It is best to wear colloidal gloves and dilute them with water. Ordinary bleach may damage the wallpaper and lead to the problem of fading. Therefore, it is best to use special bleach for wallpaper. If you don't know how to buy it, you can ask in the shop selling wallpaper.

Clean with a shovel

For some wallpaper with good quality and special material, you can also directly remove the mildew by eradicating without considering the scratch. If the wallpaper has the phenomenon of peeling and falling off, or the edges and corners are tilted in the process of eradicating, you can choose to use appropriate rubber powder, apply it on the tilted part, and then wipe it away by hand.
